No, credit inquiries have no effect on a credit score

Do I need great credit to qualify for a mortgage?

No. The better your score the easier it will be to find a loan product, and the more favorable the terms will be. We offer products for credit scores as low as 550.

Do I need to have a 20% down payment?

No, we offer loan options which require as little as 1% down.

How long does it take to get pre-approved?

Once a client has provided the information we need, a pre-approval can be issued within a few hours.

How long will it take to get to closing?

Loans are usually clear to close within 30-45 days from when contracts are signed.

Am I charged an application fee?

No, Cityscape does not charge an application fee.

How much does it cost to get pre-approved?

We do not charge for pre-approvals.
